Recently, after careful consideration and approval by the Jiangxi Provincial Government, Chongren Industrial Park has been officially renamed Jiangxi Chongren High-Tech Industrial Park—marking the province’s first county-level provincial-level high-tech industrial park and becoming Fuzhou City’s second high-tech industrial hub. In recent years, the park has diligently implemented the provincial party committee’s guiding principles of "innovative development, green rise, pragmatic responsibility, and revitalizing Jiangxi to enrich its people." Staying closely aligned with the drive for high-quality growth and firmly embracing the concept of sustainable development, the park has strategically focused on the power transmission equipment industry as its flagship sector. By nurturing industry leaders and fostering cluster development, the park has maintained strong momentum in its growth trajectory. Notably, in 2014, the park’s power transmission equipment industry was recognized as one of the province’s首批 20 provincial-level industrial demonstration clusters. In February 2015, it successfully became the city’s first national demonstration base for new industrialization. Over the years, the park has hosted two consecutive Central China Power Transmission Equipment Summit Forums—in 2016 and 2018—and in 2018 alone, it welcomed 13 new high-tech enterprises, bringing the total number of such companies to 31. That same year, the park appointed Academician Yao Jianquan from the Chinese Academy of Sciences as a government advisor and established the county’s first academician workstation at Beidou Power Transmission Technology Co., Ltd. Additionally, the park attracted one postdoctoral researcher, one senior engineer at the researcher level, and a total of 22 high-caliber talents, including doctoral candidates, PhD teams, and distinguished professors. The park has also strengthened strategic partnerships, signing collaboration agreements with China Gezhouba Group International Engineering Co., Ltd. and the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce Hardware & Machinery Trade Association. Furthermore, it inked a landmark strategic pact with Yigao Group for the Chongren Power Transmission Town project. Meanwhile, the park has made significant strides in establishing itself as a provincial-level demonstration zone for export-quality safety and reliability in power transmission equipment. Actively engaging in the Belt and Road Initiative, the park has deepened its cooperation with Zambia’s National Grid Company, paving the way for a major $85 million underground substation project led by Mingzheng Group, which has now officially commenced operations in Lusaka Province. To expand its global footprint, the park made history by leading its first-ever delegation to the ASEAN (Bangkok) China Import and Export Commodity Expo, where it held a successful promotional event showcasing Chongren’s power transmission equipment industry. This initiative culminated in strategic partnership agreements signed with countries such as India and Nepal. Meanwhile, construction is rapidly advancing on the provincial-level Quality Supervision, Inspection, and Testing Center for Medium- and Low-Voltage Power Transmission Equipment. The park is also steadily progressing toward establishing itself as a "National Demonstration Zone for Well-Known Brands in the Medium- and Low-Voltage Power Transmission Equipment Industry." In 2018, Chongren Industrial Park was honored with the prestigious title of "Jiangxi Province’s Demonstration Park for Deep Integration of Informatization and Industrialization."
